Raised PanelAuthentic paneled wainscoting consists of a series of continuous frames which surround individual panels. While the frame is a consistent element throughout the numerous variations of wainscoting it’s the panel that designates the actual ‘type’ of wainscoting being referred to. For example, if you have Classic Raised Panel wainscoting the type of wainscoting is ‘Raised Panel’ and the style is ‘Classic’. If you have Georgian Flat Panel wainscoting the type of wainscoting is ‘Flat Panel’ and the style is ‘Georgian’.
When browsing our available styles of custom paneled wainscoting you will notice that each style lists the types of panels that are available for that particular style. Most styles of our custom paneled wainscoting can accommodate any of our available panel options with the exception of only a few.
